Hi, I’m Lisabeth (+ Ann = L A), founder of L·A· Butters and Other Curiosities — a line of face and skin care products made in small batches from our butter kitchen in Dallas, Texas — inspired by nature, simplicity, and skin-loving ingredients. As a longtime nurse with a strong commitment to holistic care, I began crafting my own products with the same attention and integrity I brought to my patients: gentle, effective, and thoughtfully made.

 

What started as a personal search for clean, nourishing and affordable skincare evolved into a creative practice and growing line of balms, butters, scrubs, and solid lotions — all hand-poured in small batches using ingredients I trust, designed to nurture and restore the skin.
